MENTOLIN IS FOUNDED

In 1933, Mentolin launched with one flavour, Fresh Mint, which was released under the name of “Mentolin, Fresh Mint”. This slogan was straight to the point and was accompanied by the image of a mint leaf, a logo that has passed the test of time and is still used today.

1992

CHOCOLATES LACASA AQUIRES MENTOLIN

Grupo Lacasa acquires Productos Mauri, the manufacturer of Mentolin. This addition was part of a company policy at the time for the acquisition of leading products to consolidate its position in the market for chocolates and children’s confectionery.

2011

NEW IMAGE

This change sought to convey the idea of freshness and the benefits of each flavour through three slogans: “breathe in and breathe well”, “flavour and freshness” and “relieves and soothes”. The sugar-free range, which at that time included the flavours Mild Mint, Eucalyptus, Lemon Mint and Strawberry Mint, was expanded to include Honey Mint.

2015

NEW FLAVOURS WITH SUGAR

The range with sugar expands beyond the original Fresh Mint, offering Eucalyptus, Lemon Balm and Strawberry Mint varieties.

2016

POCKET FORMAT IS LAUNCHED

There is no doubt that Mentolin's most groundbreaking format was the tube: practical, small, easy to take anywhere and with an easy open-close system to preserve the quality of Mentolin sweets.

NEW IMAGE
